A little bird told me...

Felt like a little something other than a holiday card today.  The little adorable birds from the Quite Curvy Variety Bundle speak to me - they are too cute!

I decided to not waste anything on this card, so instead of inserting a square/rectangle piece of whisper white card stock on the inside, I utilized the part of the stitched frame from the front of the card.

Lots of layers used in this card!

Have a Very Merry Christmas!!

Tag Box (or other goodies!)

I am a sucker for 3D items - I cannot lie - I love them!  I don't always use them, gift them or even keep them, but I certainly love them!  My project today is no different.  I saw the little tag box made by Cards by Kadie and instantly fell in love.

The big difference with this project is I found myself in need of tags while wrapping Christmas presents last night and guess what?  I had a little box full of them!

I made a few modifications to the original project because I wanted to include the clothespin with string. Plus I decided to make a belly band vs. tying the end result with a ribbon.

Would you like to make one of these cuties?  Check out my video below.

Sometimes simple is best...

I was getting a little weary making my Christmas card (that was posted yesterday), so decided to whip up something a little easier and faster to do.  As much as my card that was posted yesterday is my absolute fave, this is a close second!

I love the dimension, love the plaid designer series paper and the Pine Tree Punch made the focal point super easy to create!

As often as I have used the die cuts from the Peace and Joy Bundle, this is the first time I have actually used the stamp!  It came out so clean and and I love the font!

The metallic edged ribbon creates a lot of bulk, so it was another opportunity to use the Clear Medium Envelopes.  My newest, "can't live without!"

Classic Joy!

This gem turned out to be my Christmas card that went out in the mail.  Even though it required lots of work, it is probably my #1 favorite holiday card.

Oops - forgot to brush off the extra powder from my retired Embossing buddy before I took the photo.  I love how the metallic paper shines against the black card stock (excluding the dust!)

I kept the metallic theme going with the sentiment embossed with Gold Emboss Powder.

Due to the layers, the Clear Medium Envelope was a must!  It was the only envelope that could handle the bulk of this card.  It is almost like getting a little gift in the mail.
