Fancy Mason Jar!

How is this for a fancy combination of 2 different stamp sets from the 2020-2021 Annual Catalog that will be available on June 3rd?!?

We have Forever Fern AND Jar of Flowers.   The Forever Fern Bundle has luscious greens and the Jar of Flowers can be made any color you would like.  

I just received the Mason Jar Shaker Domes and just had to include them in my card today.  I added some vellum to make it appear as though there is water in the jar.

Life is a BEAUTIFUL Journey!

 I ordered the Beautiful World Cling Set with the idea that it would be used for scrapbooking. A happy to say that it has grown on me for other uses...like, for cards! I took my piece of Early Espresso card stock, sprayed it with water and crumbled it up to give it an "vintage" look.

A nice simple sentiment for the inside.

I love seeing fellow Stampin' Up! Demonstrators' creations, especially when they "fussy-cut" something.  "Fussy-Cut" is cutting closely around anything - a sentiment, flower, anything that doesn't have a coordinating punch or die to use to cut it out.  I have attempted this several times and haven't quite gotten the hang of it.  I am, however, pleased with the "fussy-cut" sentiment on the front of this card!

P.S.  I FINALLY got my identifying stamp for the back of my cards - very happy!!

Double Flip Top Box with 3x3's

If you follow my blog, you will notice that I go to The Paper Pixie site that belongs to fellow Stampin' Up! demonstrator, Julie DiMatteo, often.  There are always great tutorial videos and Julie makes the cutest little 'containers' of varying kinds.

This box is a Double Flip Top and holds 3x3 cards and matching envelopes inside.  I have 6 inside, but it could easily hold a total of 12 3x3 cards as long as they are made without dimension.

As is often the case with these projects, they look much more complicated that they actually are - which makes them all the more interesting.

I chose to make the 3x3 cards without a sentiment.  These are a great size for a gift insert or to go along with flowers or any need for a little card that doesn't need to be mailed.

Spring is in the air!

Spring is my favorite time of year and this card makes me feel like I can smell the flowers blooming!

The font on the Ornate Thanks Photopolymer Set is definitely my favorite!

The envelope liner is the opposite side of the Ornate Garden Designer Series Paper that is used on the front of my card.  I added a couple of Gold Faceted Gems to the front to give my card a little sparkle!
