Why do I crave a Pumpkin Spice Latte?

Every time I see these colors - Cajun Craze, Early Espresso and Very Vanilla, I crave a Pumpkin Spice Latte.  And I don't even drink them!  I wanted to whip out a quick Thank You card and this one did the trick.

The Gilded Autumn Designer Series Paper is so gorgeous - it has beautiful fall colors in it plus some copper sheen.

The DSP also has great patterns that would work very well for a masculine card.  It really does cover it all!  My sentiment and oak leaves are from the versatile Arrange a Wreath Photopolymer Stamp Set.   One that I haven't really played with much - perhaps later this week.

I will be hosting my very first Facebook Live video tomorrow, September 1st at 7pm.  If you have not already 'liked' my Facebook page, you can do so here.  I would love to see you stop by and watch my video.  Here is a hint - I will be making a fancy fold card.

Fussy Cutting Achieved!

My project today covers 'fussy-cutting', a fancy fold AND an embellished envelope.

I love it when a card just comes together organically.  I knew I wanted to make a card using the Jar of Flowers Photopolymer Stamp set, but wasn't sure what to do.  I am not a great 'fussy-cutter',  usually because I don't have much time or patience!  Well, I was determined to 'fussy-cut' the flowers that were to go in the mason jar if it was the last thing I did.

I am quite pleased with how the flowers came out, in addition to the rest of the card.  I took my time and just relaxed.  It probably didn't help that I had many practice runs!  In addition to the 'fussy-cutting', I decided to play with a fancy fold.

Since the card can either be for Thanksgiving or just Thanking, I decided not to put a sentiment on the inside.  However, I couldn't leave it blank, so I added some oak leaves.

Last, but not least, I simply HAD to add some pizazz to the envelope!

I LOVE a lined envelope!

Like the sentiment says on my card, 'Good things are better with Envelope Dies"!  Ok, so it doesn't say that, but it is still true - the new Envelope Dies are the bomb!!

If you have visited my blog before, you will know that I am all about the lined envelope.  The new Envelope Dies (AND the Ornamental Envelope Stamp Set too) allow you to bring a little pizazz to your project.

The Ornamental Envelope Bundle can be yours for only $47.50 - that is a 10% savings over buying the items separately!

I wanted to show you how to use the Envelope Dies for two different envelope sizes - the Medium sized envelope and the Notecard sized envelope.

There are also two more sizes for dressing up envelopes for a 3x3 card and a 5x7 card.  Plus, there is the added bonus of die cutting ornaments in addition to other goodies in the pack.

To show you how easy it is to dress up your envelopes, I have included a short video.

Stay safe everyone!  If you 👍 my Facebook page, you will be notified of my very first Facebook Live video that I will hold on September 1st!!
