I love how the brushed gold reminds me of fall, bot to mention the bunches of wheat. The Gilded,Autumn Designer Series Paper has such lush fall colors. I have struggled with using the Mint Macaron colors in the DSP, but was happy with how this project came out.
The Ornate Thanks Photopolymer Stamp set has so many options for a simple thank you card.
I have to be careful with my use of the Envelope Dies - I am going to wear those Dies out!
I always forget about Crumb Cake and then I stumble upon a fellow demonstrator's, Lynn Dunn, project and think, Oh yeah, that is gorgeous!
I love the rustic look the crumb cake gives with a bold color like real red.
I used a die from the Envelope Die set which kind of gives the card a Norwegian look, don't you think? Some ornaments were added, also from the Envelope Die set and then linen thread.
This project has inspired me to try the same look with other colors - what do you think? Whisper White and Real Red? Real Red and Garden Green? The possibilities are endless!
Rarely do I purchase stamp sets with a religious tone, however, I saw the For Unto Us Cling Stamp Set and knew I just had to have it! It is a great set, in that it has paired sentiments. I love all of the fonts in the set and all of the sentiments.
Look at all of these options -
I knew that this set would make the perfect boxed set of Christmas cards - so I made 3 in real red and 3 in garden green.
I love the Toile Tidings Designer Series Paper - it lends itself to a vintage look plus it is a carryover from last year's holiday catalog. Very classic!
I like to put a protective sheet in for each card to help keep the embellishments safe during mailing.
Given how crazy this year has been, I decided to take a lead from fellow demonstrator, Julie DiMatteo and made an Essentials box. I wanted to put some hand sanitizer, hand lotion and some chocolate inside, so I had to do a little math (yuck!) and come up with new measurements.
I love how this came out and it made a great little gift to hand out to friends.
I think Bath & Body Works is my favorite store for little items like those I put in the box. They always have a great price point to purchase multiples.
If you would like to make your own Essentials box, here are the measurements for mine.

Hello, welcome to the Stampin’ Pretty Pals’ Blog Hop! This month our Design Team created projects where “It’s the Sentiment that Counts.” We hope you enjoy and will be inspired by them! Don’t forget to leave comments! We love hearing from you. At the end of my post, you will find the full line-up to help you “hop” along from Pal to Pal.
Stampin' Up! has offered religious sentiments over the years. I can honestly say that I have never purchased them - not sure why, but just never wanted them. I have to admit, the For Unto Us Cling Stamp Set was one that I HAD to have!
I struggled to come up with a layout for my card today. I knew I wanted to showcase this sentiment, but just couldn’t come up with a design I liked. Then, I saw a card made by Mary Fish (#1 on the hop below) and realized my search was over!
I just love the mixed font and how the sentiments are paired. The entire set is like that - a total of 4 different sentiment pairs.
More inspiration awaits! Use the Blog Hop Line-up below to visit the rest of this month’s Design Team. My fellow Pals are excited to show you what they’ve created! Mark your calendars for our next blog hop on October 14th when our theme is “Tag, You’re It!” Participants will showcase tags or 3D items that will be great for gifts for any occasion. Don’t miss the fun! Until then, please stay safe and have fun in your craft room.
