Mini Catalog Sneak Peek

My project is CASE’d from Mary Fish at Stampin Pretty  The inspiration has different Designer Series Paper but the concept is the same.

I use the Snowflake Designer Series Paper which has beautiful shades of Coastal Cabana, Highland Heather and Pacific Point among others.

I used Wink of,Stella on the ornaments that are raised by dimensionals - to give it a little sparkle.

The Ornamental Envelope Bundle not only has dies that give many options for envelope liners, but is is discounted 10%!

To see more of my purchases from the new Mini Catalog available on August 4th, see the video below.

Until next time, stay bee-utiful!

BEST In Color + Neutral Combo

Sometimes you need a calm “Get Well Soon” card vs a bright cheery one. That is what I am aiming for with  my project today. In full disclosure, I was cleaning my craft room and stumbled across my Stampin’ Chalk Marker and thought, hmmmm.....what can I do with this? So, I used the marker to highlight parts of the tulip.

I like monochromatic cards so I went with Crumb Cake as my base and main color. 2020-2022 In Color Misty Moonlight (my 2nd fav for the new In Colors) provides the “splash” of color.  The other item I stumbled upon was my Detailed Trio Punch which was used for the corners of the card front.

In an effort to keep things simple, I added a small tulip on the inside instead of a stamped sentiment.

There is a long die that goes with the Stitched Nested Dies that I have never used. Since I used the small Stitched Nested Die for the sentiment on the front, I thought I’d give the envelope a little something extra by using the long thin die.

Make sure to check back for my next post...a Mini Catalog sneak peak! Here’s a hint.....ENVELOPES.

Until then, stay 🐝-utiful!

Split Card Technique - Part Deux

Here is the Split Card Technique using dies vs. stamping. I did stamp the sunflower from the gorgeous Celebrate Sunflower, but the focus on this project are the die cuts.

I finally organized my card supply and found I had two sections that were on the slim side - sympathy and birthday.

I love the sentiments in the Peaceful Moments Cling Stamp Set.  They can even be inter-changeable.

Card #2 of the Split Card Technique - the awesome part of this technique is that it is universal in that the card front can go in either direction - portrait or landscape.

I had a lot of fun with this technique - I challenge anyone to do this with every stamp set you own (that isn't just sentiments).  Think of all of the options!!

Until next time crafters - stay bee-utiful!
