Pals Blog Hop - My Happiest Season!

Hello, welcome to the Stampin’ Pretty Pals’ Blog Hop! This month our Design Team is showcasing “My Happiest Season.” We hope you enjoy and will be inspired by them! Don’t forget to leave comments! We love hearing from you. At the end of my post, you will find the full line-up to help you “hop” along from Pal to Pal.

My latest obsession is the slimline card.  I think it reminds me of Holiday cards from a long time ago.  My Happiest Season is Thanksgiving - I love the craziness of the day. Family is around, it is so loud, no one can hear each other talk and we eat my favorite foods!

My project uses some of my faves from the new mini catalog - Banner Year, Pick a Banner Punch, and the Gilded Autumn Designer Series Paper.

The measurements for my card are:
Card base: 7" x 8 ½" - scored @ 3.5" (mint macaron)
Layer 1: 3¼" x 8¼" (x2 - 1 for the inside & 1 for the outside) (whisper white)
Layer 2: 3 ¹/₈" x  8¹/₈ "   (Gilded Autumn DSP)
Layer 3: 2½" x 7½   (mint macaron)
Layer 4: 2¼" x 7¼ " (whisper white)

The measurements for my envelope are:
8.5" x 11" (mint macaron)
3¹/₈ " x 3⁷/₈ "  (lining for envelope flap - Gilded Autumn DSP)

I am always grateful at Thanksgiving for family (and the rest of the year too)!

Using Mint Macaron card stock, I made an envelope that perfectly fits the slimline card.  To see how I made the envelope, watch the video below:

More inspiration awaits! Use the Blog Hop Line-up below to visit the rest of this month’s Design Team. My fellow Pals are excited to show you what they’ve created! Mark your calendars for our next blog hop on September 9th when our theme is “It’s the Sentiment that Counts.” The Design Team will showcase a sentiment as the focal point of their project. Don’t miss the fun! Until then, please stay safe and have fun in your craft room.
