A Second Look at the Forever Fern Bundle

Welcome back! We are looking at a different combo of colors for our Forever Fern Bundle card.  It is a little hard to see, but the Very Vanilla Card Stock has been run through the Subtle Embossing Folder to give it just a little of depth.

Since all of the cards this week will be grouped together, I wanted to keep the inside the same.

Again, for consistency, I chose the In Good Taste Designer Series Paper as an envelope liner.  I love the burlap-y look of this pattern!

Check in tomorrow to see the color combo that I will come up with for this project.

Until then, stay bee-utiful!

A Different Look at The Forever Fern Bundle

Have you ever purchased a stamp set and thought, why did I do that? Well, that’s how I feel about the Forever Fern Bundle.  I like it, don’t get me wrong, I’m just not sure what to do with it.

So, for the last few days of June, my plan is to highlight the bundle. I think my biggest issue was the feeling that I had to stick to greens.  Today, tomorrow and Wednesday will show the same layout using the Forever Fern Bundle but with different color groupings.

I’d like to make the cards blank/all-purpose but that doesn’t mean I can’t add something to the inside, right?

I wanted a neutral Designer Series Paper for the envelope liner - In Good Taste fit the bill perfectly.

Check in tomorrow to see the colors that I will use for this projects.  Until them stay bee-utiful!

Pay It Forward Friday - Floating Frame - Sunflower Style

I have had so much fun this week playing with the awesome Celebrate Sunflower Cling Stamp Set - there are so many options.  Who would have thought with just sunflowers?

If you haven't noticed, I really like the Ornate Thanks Photopolymer Set!

My project today is going to a friend - my way to Pay It Forward On Friday :)

For the month of July, I think I will be reducing my blog posts to 3 posts a week.  I hope you will still check in and enjoy my posts and projects.

Until then, stay bee-utiful!

Misty Moonlight Sunflowers??

Who says sunflowers have to be yellow?? I had so much fun creating this monochromatic card.  As I mentioned yesterday, Misty Moonlight is my #2 favorite 2020-2022 In Color and I certainly got my fill with this project!

The Ornate Thanks Photopolymer Stamp Set is my go to stamp set. I would love to see SU! take the same font and concept and apply it to other sentiments, i.e., Happy Birthday, Sorry, and so on.  Wouldn't that be the bomb?!?

Thanks to my Stamparatus, I was able to stamp the THANK YOU sentiment in Misty Moonlight Ink and then again with Versamark. Added some clear Stampin' Embossing Powder and heated that baby up and voila!

Love this card!  Well, it seems that summer has arrived here in Maryland, so stay cool and stay
bee-utiful!

P.S. Contact me if you would like to learn more about this awesome opportunity!
